Hello creative souls. Martha Richardson here with a Jewel Loom Project that came about as a “what am I going to do with all these unused jewelry pieces?”. As I was cleaning up my studio I found a little bit of leftover chain, an Ice Resin pendant and special beads. I left them out and every time I walked by my concept became clearer to me.

Out came the Jewel Loom and seed beads. I created a small 3 bead strand on my Jewel Loom, strung with Beadalon Wild Fire, that I used as part of an asymmetrical necklace. I attached each end of the seed bead section to a small part of a chain that matched an Ice Resin and Media Mixage Bezel that I had created as a class sample. I then created 2 different bead sections from the remaining sections of chain. The necklace is long enough to slip over my head so no clasp was required.

Supplies Used:

Jewel Loom (TM) by Julianna Hudgins

Beadalon WildFire .15mm Black

Myuki Seed Beads 8/0

Spellbinders® Media Mixáge™ Shield Bezel by Susan Lenart Kazmer™

Misc. chain and Beads

I’m really please with this necklace. It seems to be a necklace trend to created several small components and blend them together to create a one of a kind necklace. Thank you for stopping by on this cold, crisp morning!

So pretty!!! What a fabulous way to incorporate some beads as part of the pendant chain. Love how you always think outside the box Martha!
