Hello everyone!

I have an Ice Green Bracelet created on the Beadalon Jewel Loom to share with you today!

Green Ice Bracelet

I’ve named this bracelet Ice Green because it reminds me of icicles!

I used green Beadalon WildFire bead weaving thread on the loom and to string the beads.  Since the round green beads are wider than the glass seed beads, I’ve added extra seed beads on the edges next to every other round bead.

extra seed beads

Here you can see that there are 2 seed beads on the weaving thread.  Then the thread goes through the two center beads of the row before.  The next step is to add 2 more beads on the other edges.

Weaving beads

When weaving the thread back through the beads, the needle and thread  again go through the center two beads from the previous row.  If you look closely, you can see that next to every other green bead there are 2 extra beads along the edge.  In this way the bracelet stays even.

Ice Green Bracelet 2

I’ve used a button and loop for the closure.  A round green bead is fastened to the button with weaving thread.  The beads around it are threaded on 2 at a time passing the thread through the holes in the button and finally threading through all the beads and secured with a knot under the button.  I made a loop with the weaving thread on the other end of the bracelet.

Thanks so much for visiting!!!

Judy
