Good Morning blog friends!
It’s my day to share a little inspiration! I have a quick card and vase of paper flowers to share! Perfect as a little cheer-up gift. A little something to say “I care!”
I’ve cut the flowers, leaves and flourish with dies from Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. I love these flowers! They’re so cute! I used white core paper so when I sanded them the white shows through.
All the flowers are 2 layers assembled with glue spots. The yellow one is solid yellow in back and print paper on top. Each has a white brad in the center.
The stems for the flowers in the little vase are florist wire. I curled one end and used a Glue Spot to hold it to the back of each flower.
I added a couple leaves to 2 stems with glue spots. To keep them standing together and facing forward, I wrapped a glue spot around the stems below the vase top and hidden by the ribbon. There’s also a glue spot on the ends of the stems to keep them in place. I used clear beads as filler in the vase. The vase is a small bottle I found at a craft store.
The card is 3 ¼ x 4 ¾”. I embossed the front with Dainty Dots folder. The flowers are the same as the vase, 2 layers with white brad centers. I cut a green flourish which is behind the flowers. The flowers are fastened with glue spots which keep the flourish in place, too. I added a little tag and verse tied to the red flower. Simple and cute!
Thank you so much for visiting! I’ve enjoyed sharing this project with you!!!
Have a super creative day!
